Ana holds a degree in Computer Science on UPM and has over 20 years experience in computing. She has worked as a Relational Manager with Telefónica España in several companies of the indsutry before joining ASPgems. Rafael Garcia Rafa holds a degree in Systems Administration by I.E.S. Mare de Déu de la Mercè. He studied Systems Engineering in the University of Barcelona. He's been working as a system administrator for 9 years. He has great experience in GNU/Linux systems and Rails development and deployment. He is a free software enthusiast. Javier Ramirez Javier got started with web development in 1997 and hasn't stopped since, holding positions from programmer to project manager or software architect, and going through the experience of creating its own company. He has delivered training on software engineering and on several programming languages. He is a founding member of the organization of the Spanish Rails Conference, SRUG, the Spanish Ruby Users Group and madrid-rb, the Ruby users group in Madrid. Elliot AcklandFor the past 10 years Elliot has been working as a graphic and web designer starting in London designing Flash animations, then later moving to Madrid and developing web applications at Qarana Solutions. Further down the line he went to Barcelona working on branding and packaging design projects. Finally he is once again in Madrid collaborating with ASPgems and adding a touch of style to their projects.
